HANDICAPPING GUIDELINES SO EASY - SO SIMPLE As soon as you have applied, been accepted and paid your monitoring fee, you will be given an account and your instructions. All your selections have to be posted prior to game time. When you add a selection the current schedule will appear. Choose your game, the type of play, side pick, total pick or runline in Baseball and NHL. Once your pick is made, you will be given the current odds at 7 different sports books. You will make your choice of odds, your game will be graded by your choice. You will then choose your rating, 1* or unit to 10*. Your game goes into the system and can not be changed. ***
TSM uses the Don Best web site www.donbest.com for odds information BASEBALL MONITORING RULES - STANDARD NEVADA REGULATIONS 1. Baseball selections will be accepted in the following manner: A. (ACTION) Team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher. B. One Specified Pitcher - specifying one pitcher, regardless of the other starting pitcher. C. Both Specified Pitchers - If starting pitchers are not exactly as listed, your selection will be deemed (NO ACTION). Exception: Overnight pitcher changes It will be the handicappers responsibility to notify TSM if your overnight pitcher did not start. The only games TSM will grade for pitcher changes will be the games where there is an actual pitcher change from the days starting line up. 2. In the event there is a pitcher change prior to the game, money odds
may be adjusted. 3. A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch. 4. Game winners and losers are official after 9 innings of play UNLESS the home team is leading after 8 1/2 innings. CALLED GAMES must go 5 innings or 4 1/2 innings if the home team is ahead. 5. TOTALS - OVER/UNDER SELECTIONS In the event of a pitcher change prior to the game, a totals play is deemed "NO ACTION" only if handicapper has boxed the pitchers Or if there is no line posted for the total after the pitcher change. A game must go the regulation 8 1/2 or 9 innings. If the game goes past regulation innings, and is subsequently suspended or postponed, it is considered "ACTION" and the winner or loser will be determined by the score at the time the game is called. In the case where the home team does not bat (3 outs) in the bottom half of an extra inning game, the score reverts back to the previous full inning of play. *** SELECTIONS ARE GRADED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING MONEY LINE The 10 cent line is used if the favorite is under 200, the 20 cent line is used from 200 to 235 and the 30 cent line is used from 240. Totals are graded at 11/10.
